25 Year Anniversary Bash
If you couldn't come to our 25 Year Anniversary Bash on Sunday November 13th 2005, here are some photos to show you what you missed out on. It was a great event - lots of loyal Phidippides customers, most of our vendors with loads of giveaways and raffle prizes, Pat Connelly, Rod Dixon, some of our podiatry and orthopedic contacts. And, perhaps more importantly from a runner's point of view - there were industrial quantities of GREAT food and drink and some simply amazing "birthday" cakes.  If you couldn't make it to our 25th, be sure to mark your calendar for November 2030 for the 50th!

Our thanks to our great vendors for helping make this event a smashing success. All of our vendors, large and small, are an integral part of our success, and we really appreciate every one of them for the generosity and support for our store, and specifically our Anniversary Celebration.  The vendors also generously contributed product for the raffles that were held. Thanks to all of you!

Thanks for 25 years of loyal patronage!

Thanks for being our customer!
The Anniversary Shirt proved to be a REAL hit - we are sold out, but are taking orders for another run for this unique collector's item. Our very own in house Disney animator, David Kcenich designed the logo. The shirt is a great Brooks performance shirt and we'll be doing them in several colors - call to reserve one - priced at $15.00. HALF of what you'd pay for any ordinary performance running shirt. Don't miss out!
A special thanks to Mary Stafford (Tim Stafford is the local area director for Team In Training) for literally taking charge without anyone asking her to do so and documenting our Anniversary Celebration. She deserves a Pulitzer for photo journalism coverage of this historic event!  Thanks, Mary!

Charlie and Ava with David Kcenich, the designer of our new Phidippides logo featured on our Annivesary shirt and all our new Phidippides shirts. Some of you may already have an appreciation for David's talent if you came into the store with your kids or grandkids, David no doubt whipped out a cartoon with "Bruce", the dinosaur-like character he is developing into a comic strip!
